one question at a time · senior auditor

Ask one question, without buying an audit first

Most accessibility work is sold in one size: a full audit. That leaves nowhere to go with a question you could answer in fifteen minutes. So you can buy a bundle of credits instead. One credit is one question on one topic, and the credit is only spent once we answer.

One credit is one question — follow-up questions in the same thread are free
Answered by a senior auditor, with code examples and context
Nothing is charged if the question falls outside what we can help with

How it works

The model

One credit, one topic, no clock running

You buy a bundle and ask your questions in our client portal. Every question starts its own thread. Once the auditor replies, one credit is spent. Keep asking in that thread as long as you need; it costs nothing extra. When the topic is done the auditor closes the thread, and your next question is a new credit.

Credits

What people ask

  • Code review on a component or pull request
  • A new feature checked at the end of a sprint
  • How VoiceOver on iOS handles a date picker
  • Whether an ARIA pattern is the right one
  • A question about a finding in your report
What it costs

What a bundle costs, and how long it lasts

Ten credits cost €250, twenty cost €470, fifty cost €1,100 and a hundred cost €2,000. A single question without a bundle costs €37.50, so a bundle is always cheaper. All prices exclude 21% Dutch VAT. Each bundle is valid for twelve months from the payment date, and we always spend the credits that expire first.

In the portal

What you can see

  • Your balance and when credits expire
  • Which question cost which credit
  • Whose turn it is, yours or ours
  • Every answer, kept together to read back later
The boundary

Fifteen minutes is an average, not a stopwatch

Some questions take three minutes and some take three quarters of an hour. An aria-expanded on the wrong element is a short answer with a code example. A dropdown that behaves differently in four places on your site takes longer. We do not settle the difference, because then you would weigh up every question before asking it. What we do hold to is one topic per credit: if a second subject comes up halfway through, we say so and make it a new question. Without that line a €25 credit turns into half a day’s work, and then the price has to go up for everyone.

Response time

What to expect

  • An answer within three to five working days
  • Faster if something has to go live for a deadline
  • Attachments welcome: screenshots, PDFs, code
  • Nothing charged if we cannot help with it

Who buys credits

Development teams use them inside their sprint rhythm: a review, an answer, and on with the work.

Product owners ask about findings, priorities, and how to explain a decision to a board.

Agencies get a sparring partner who looks over their projects without buying a separate audit for every client.

Clients who already have a report use credits for questions, re-checks and sprint testing after the audit is delivered.

Where the answers come from

Your question goes to a senior auditor who knows your site or your report. Since 2019 we have run more than 950 audits, as of 7 August 2026, and that is what the answers are built on. You get explanation, code examples and context, pitched at your background: developers get code, product owners get plain language.

Questions about your own report

Until August 2026 those were free. That changed. Our reports are written to be used without a briefing: every finding opens with a user story from a visitor with a disability, and carries a screenshot, a code example and a fix. Anything you ask us on top of that is work, and work has to be paid for somewhere. Clients whose report was already in progress when this changed keep their questions free until that project is finished.
